Modhera Sun Temple – A Timeless Tribute to the Sun God

The Modhera Sun Temple, located in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, is one of India’s most magnificent architectural and spiritual landmarks. Built in 1026–1027 CE by King Bhima I of the Solanki dynasty, the temple is dedicated to Surya (the Sun God) and resembles the iconic Sun Temple of Konark in its grandeur and symbolism.
